What is Ndex?
Ndex is nublock’s first product: a place to ask your school’s catalog, checksheets, and academic policies a question in plain English and get an answer with the page it came from.
Is Ndex official?
No. It’s built from your school’s public pages, not endorsed by the school. That’s exactly why every answer cites its source: you can verify it with your advisor before you act on it.
Can it be wrong?
Yes. It can misread a page, or the page itself can be out of date. The citation is there so you can check. Treat Ndex as the fastest way to find the right page, not as the final word.
Does it cost anything?
It’s free for students at schools where Ndex is live.
How do I sign in?
Click Login or Try for free, pick your school, and enter your password. Passwords are shared through your school community while Ndex is in its early access period.
My school isn’t listed.
Tell us. Schools go live in the order students ask for them. One email is enough.
What does Ndex know about me?
Nothing it doesn’t need to. You don’t create an account to use it. See the privacy page for the specifics.
I’m an advisor. Should I be worried?
We hope not. Ndex handles the questions that already have a written answer and sends students to the page. Judgment calls and exceptions are still yours. We’d love to hear from you.
I’m an administrator. What do you need from us?
Nothing to start. Ndex is built from pages you already publish. If you’d like to be involved, here’s how.
