Draft. This describes how nublock handles information today. It should be reviewed by a lawyer before nublock takes on paying customers or institutional agreements.

What we collect

• No account. You don’t create an account to use Ndex, so we don’t hold your name, email, or student ID.
• Sign-in. The password you enter on nublock.co is checked in your browser and passed to Ndex in the URL fragment, which is not sent to our web server.
• Questions. Ndex processes the questions you ask in order to answer them. Don’t include personal information in a question; it isn’t needed to get an answer.
• Basic logs. Like any website, our servers may record standard request information (IP address, browser, time) for security and debugging.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell information about you.
• We don’t share anything with your school about who asked what.
• We don’t use advertising trackers on this site.

Where the answers come from

Ndex is built from pages your school has already published. We index those pages and cite them. We don’t access student records or any non-public school system.
